New Missions Added!

The National Polar-orbiting Operational Environmental Satellite System (NPOESS) has added four more missions to the ATS database. Each mission goes to a similar orbit, with launch dates between 2009 and 2018. NPOESS has allocated 25% capacity for additional instrumentation. ATS users interested in including their instrument package on any of the NPOESS spacecraft should follow one of the links below.

Successful Test Firing of Falcon I

SpaceX successfully conducted a five-second test firing of their Falcon I vehicle at Vandenberg AFB.

Successful Test Launch of Nanosatellite Launch Vehicle (NLV)

Garvey Spacecraft Corporation of Long Beach, California, in conjunction with California State University, Long Beach successfully launched a test version of their planned Prospector 6 (P6) vehicle, capable of placing 10 kg into LEO.
